Crews continue to prepare the WSU Pullman campus for operations. With more snow in the forecast, officials will assess the status of the Pullman campus early Tuesday morning. The start time for February 12 will be announced via WSU Alert by 6 a.m. tomorrow.
There are no warnings or emergencies
Operations at Washington State University’s Pullman campus are suspended today due to inclement weather. All scheduled classes and labs are cancelled and only essential services, including student housing, dining and health services, will be provided. Only those WSU employees previously designated as essential to campus operations should report to work.
Snow removal from campus is underway, and slick or icy spots may still remain. All personnel not directly responsible for snow removal and are not considered essential personnel are asked to stay off campus for their own safety.

WSU Emergency Management is conducting a test of the WSU Alert Notification System. This system will provide notice & information in emergencies. The WSU Pullman campus is also practicing a campus-wide lockdown. Expect electronic locks on interior and exterior doors to engage beginning at 11:45 a.m lasting until 12:00 Noon. Use this time to consider what you would do if this were a real event. Remember Run, Hide, Fight. During all emergencies students, staff, and faculty should be ALERT to developing incidents, ASSESS the situation, and ACT to ensure their own safety.
