WSU Pullman is operating on a normal schedule today, Thursday, March 7, 2019. Students, staff and faculty are asked to make their own personal decision to decide whether or not it it safe to travel to campus. While traveling, please drive with care, increase following distances and watch for areas of ice on roadways.
Employees are encouraged to be aware of personnel processes for periods of inclement weather. Human Resource Services has posted many resources on the Inclement Weather & Suspended Operations website. Students should communicate with their instructors regarding course expectations if they feel they can not travel to class.
The WSU Pullman Campus is currently conducting a test of the Emergency Notification System. This system will provide notice & information in emergencies. The WSU Pullman campus is also practicing a campus-wide door locking test. Expect electronic locks on interior and exterior doors to engage beginning at 11:45 a.m. lasting until 12:00 p.m. Use this time to consider what you would do if this were a real event. During all emergencies students, staff, and faculty should be alert to developing incidents, assess the situation, and act to ensure their own safety.
