Ongoing COVID-19 response at WSU Pullman

UPDATE 8/21/20 5:30 p.m.

Officials have seen a substantial increase in COVID-19 cases in the Pullman area among ages 18-24. Everyone is urged to comply with the Governor’s established orders, particularly with wearing of face coverings and that gatherings are not to exceed ten (10) individuals in Phase 3. Resource Limitations at WSU Pullman due to COVID-19

In an effort to increase social distancing, Governor Inslee placed statewide restrictions impacting WSU Pullman’s ability to provide a full residential experience. Restrictions were placed on food services, required temporary closure of recreational and social spaces, as well as prohibited many student engagement opportunities we would typically offer. Gatherings over 50 are also not allowed.

Dining Services is ONLY providing limited food options via delivery and to-go options. Food pantries will be available. Cougar Health Services will be open.

All recreational facilities including the Student Recreation Center, Stephenson Fitness Center, Faculty/Staff Fitness Program, Playfields, and recreation components of the Chinook are closed until … » More …
