There is currently an outage impacting the WSU IT server infrastructure on the Pullman campus. This outage impacts e-mail, websites & some other services. IT expects to have the outage resolved by this evening. The outage may delay the sending of emails, and impact MyWSU access.

Officials have seen a substantial increase in COVID-19 cases in the Pullman area among ages 18-24. Everyone is urged to comply with the Governor’s established orders, particularly with wearing of face coverings and that gatherings are not to exceed ten (10) individuals in Phase 3. The contractor for the Digital Classroom construction project will be conducting an emergency response drill at 11:00 this morning. The drill will involve contractor personnel, WSU Police, and Pullman Fire Departments. Traffic around the construction site will be temporarily redirected during the actual drill.
On Tuesday, April 19, there was a water main break on North Grand Avenue near Dissmore’s, causing a water outage and loss of pressure in the water system. This led to the City of Pullman issuing a precautionary boil water order for those who live on College and Military Hill. Water samples were taken and submitted for testing.
The WSU Office of Emergency Management sent out a notification and updates to supplement the City of Pullman’s boil water order due to the possibility that it may affect students, staff and faculty.
