On 10-14-2014 at about 9:15 pm WSU Police Officers responded to the report of an assault that had just taken place in the McEachern Hall area. It was near the sidewalk that faces the South Side dining facility. The female victim reported she was struck from behind and then knocked to the ground as she entered her residence. The victim described the suspect as a darker skinned male 5’8″ to 5’11” wearing a brown hoodie and possible camel style backpack. The victim was given a ride to the hospital by WSU PD, where she was treated and released. Anyone with information is asked to call WSU PD at (509) 335-8548.

High Wind Warning
March 11, 2026 4:10pmThe National Weather Service has announced a High Wind Warning for Pullman and the surrounding area. Southwest winds of 30 to 45 mph with gusts up to 65 mph are expected this evening through Thursday morning. These conditions will increase the risk of falling trees and power outages – please exercise caution when traveling outdoors.
