The National Weather Service office in Spokane, WA issued a Heat Advisory for this area on June 24, 2015. The heat advisory is in effect beginning at 1pm Friday. Temperatures are expected to be near 100 on Friday with high temperatures over 100 on Saturday and Sunday.

Hot temperatures will create a situation in which heat related health effects are possible. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check on relatives and neighbors.

If you plan to be active outside this weekend remember to drink plenty of water, take breaks from vigorous activity and rest in the shade or indoors in possible.
