The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning for the Columbia Basin, NE Washington and the Idaho Panhandle for this afternoon through approximately 1:00am. It appears that the worst winds will be North and East of Pullman. Exercise caution when outdoors and particularly when traveling on roadways. WSU Pullman is continuing normal operations – EXCEPT for UREC outdoor activities, which have been cancelled for today.

High Wind Warning
March 11, 2026 4:10pmThe National Weather Service has announced a High Wind Warning for Pullman and the surrounding area. Southwest winds of 30 to 45 mph with gusts up to 65 mph are expected this evening through Thursday morning. These conditions will increase the risk of falling trees and power outages – please exercise caution when traveling outdoors.
