A recent incident outside of Pullman is disrupting natural gas service to residents of Pullman, Moscow, Lewiston, Clarkston, and the surrounding communities. This could impact household heating, hot water, and other natural gas appliances.

Most of the WSU Pullman campus has been switched to an alternative heat source and will remain open and operational, and classes will proceed as scheduled. The Compton Union Building and Chinook Student Center will remain open overnight for people whose heating has been affected by this outage.

Avista Utilities is providing additional information about the outage, and the work Avista crews are performing to shut-off and restore natural gas services.
