Be prepared for delays and possible pass closures. Fill your fuel tank, and leave prepared with blankets, snacks and water. Avoid distractions- put your cell phone away and pull over at a safe place if you need to take a call or want to have a snack. Drive alert. Keep in mind, travel CAN wait until weather conditions improve over the passes.

High Wind Warning
March 11, 2026 4:10pmThe National Weather Service has announced a High Wind Warning for Pullman and the surrounding area. Southwest winds of 30 to 45 mph with gusts up to 65 mph are expected this evening through Thursday morning. These conditions will increase the risk of falling trees and power outages – please exercise caution when traveling outdoors.
