Snow expected in the Idaho Panhandle and southeast Washington beginning Friday afternoon and continuing into Friday night. Persistent temperatures at or near freezing will allow snow to stick during the afternoon hours with roadsĀ  becoming slick and snow covered. Hazardous travel is expected through the Silver Valley and along Highway 95. Advisory is affecting Lower Garfield and Asotin Counties – Washington Palouse- including Clarkston, Pomeroy, Pullman, Colfax, Rosalia, La Crosse, Oakesdale, Teoka, and Uniontown.

Plan on slippery road conditions, including during the evening commute. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are expected. Be prepared for reduced visibility at times. A winter weather advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibility. Use caution while driving.
